First Appointment

Your first session is an intake and assessment. This is where we take time to understand you or your child, your concerns, and what you’re hoping to see improve.

We’ll gather information, ask questions, and begin developing a plan tailored specifically to the needs.

Ongoing Sessions

After the initial session, therapy typically continues in regular sessions lasting 30 minutes to one hour.

Sessions may take place weekly or every other week and are focused on helping make steady, meaningful progress over time.

What Therapy May Look Like

Everyone is different, and therapy is tailored to age, needs, and situation.

For younger children, sessions may include structured activities or guided interaction to help them express and process what they are feeling.

For older children, teens, and adults, sessions may involve more direct conversation while still providing a supportive and comfortable environment.

Working With Parents

We believe progress happens best when parents feel supported as well.

Depending on your child’s needs and the type of therapy, we may provide guidance, feedback, and practical tools to help you support your child at home.
